Ohjah opened in June of 2010 and soon became a favorite restaurant within Las Vegas & Pahrump. With the commitment to the quality of our service and food. We opened our third restaurant at Las Vegas on January of 2013.

Our head chef, Zhigang Wang, is committed to providing the very best Japanese dining experience at a reasonable price. At 22, Zhigang Wang moved to Tokyo and worked as a chef in a hotel, where, he said, he learned the art of sushi. When he moved to Las Vegas, he held several cooking jobs in big casinos, including the Aladdin and Orleans. Wang said he started to specialize in cooking with a hibachi during an eight-year stint as a master chef at the Mirage.
He said he combined what he learned in Japan and Las Vegas to create Ohjah Japanese Steakhouse.
